In November 2022, when Lightyear moved to its new office, the aim was to create an environment that inspires people by providing focal areas, opportunities for face-to-face collaboration, and places to relax alongside work. The office features cozy elements such as sofas, armchairs, and comfortable bean bags.
In the office planning, a significant emphasis was placed on meeting rooms with good air circulation, soundproofing, and large windows ensuring ample natural light. Additionally, the office layout includes a large recreational area that has proven to be functional, where dogs and children often play, adding a touch of joy to each workday.
The office also facilitates activities like large team meetings and brainstorming sessions, offering several built-in booths for video calls and a spacious all-hands meeting room for the entire Tallinn team.
In terms of design, the new office largely follows a Scandinavian style, incorporating plenty of black and white hues, as well as natural wood tones. The light logo and framed press articles form a timeline of Lightyear's major events.
